Analyze molecular genetic features used in brain tumor diagnosis, as well as their significance to prognosis and treatment response.
Participants will be able to: Differentiate normal developmental variants that mimic pathology; review challenges encountered in pediatric radiology practice and offer practical solutions in the following areas: radiation, IV/oral contrast, child life, sedation, communication with parents and referring physicians
At the conclusion of this course, participants will be able to: Identify emphysema and lung cysts on HRCT and differentiate the two; provide a differential diagnosis by using HRCT patterns of cystic lung disease; classify emphysema types based on HRCT
This course is intended for cardiothoracic surgeons, cardiologists, interventional cardiologists, internists, nurses, physician assistants, and all healthcare professionals involved in the evaluation, diagnosis, and/or management of patients with mitral and tricuspid disease.

The Symposium aims to achieve a balance of clinical, translational, and basic research, providing a forum for interaction, communication, and education for a broad spectrum of researchers, health professionals, and those with a special interest in breast cancer.
Didactic training is reinforced through clinical laboratory experience. The focus is on providing participants with the confidence to complete abdominal, OB, and GYN ultrasounds based on transabdominal and endovaginal AIUM protocols. The Abdomen portion of the course covers the basic protocols involved in an examination and general use of the ultrasound system. Normal anatomy of the liver, gall bladder, kidneys, spleen, abdominal vessels, and pancreas will be discussed
Participants will be able to understand the difference between contrast enhanced mammography vs MRI vs ultrasound; recognize the implications of the pathologic difference between atypical and malignant breast lesions; make informed decisions about when to use genetic panel testing in the diagnosis and management of breast cancer patients
The goal is to disseminate new scientific information to accelerate the translation of novel preclinical science into clinical trials. Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to: Describe the ways in which the pancreatic cancer immune environment provides challenges for modulation
The theme this year is “Hope, Heal, Learn”- 3 principles that make up the essence of work. The course faculty will provide multiple talks in various plenary sessions, as well as presentations in subspecialty breakout sessions and moderated panel conversations
